WHITE VINEGAR

Directed by Yvonne Winfrey Produced by The UNcollective Productions (US)

A savvy young African American woman pursuing her master's in a racist college town has more than her wits tested when she is abducted by a deranged local.

“…This was an immensely fulfilling project for me. Not only was the score and subject matter extremely challenging, but there is music in this film that I never dreamed would come from ME. To say nothing of the amazing collaborator and friend that I now have in Yvonne; who is an accomplished musician herself. She placed a great deal of trust in me to be able to both create original music and also weave in themes from her own music which features throughout the film. This I will never forget, and we bonded over shared love of all kinds of music, and developed a language for it we both immediately understand. I feel very grateful”

~Brian L.H. Gunter (on scoring the feature film, “White Vinegar”)
