BLOODY FELT
Directed by Samuel Torres Produced by Spongeycraft Studios (US) In association with USC Films
A frog must navigate dangerous waters to discover a killer when a celebration turns up dead bodies and bloody felt in this twisted musical tale of puppetry and parody.
“As projects go, ‘Bloody Felt’ is by far the most chaotic and schizophrenic work I’ve been a part of…and I would not have had it any other way. Not only was I handling the traditional score elements, but also diegetic music like EDM and Dubstep, a theme song in the style of a certain children’s variety puppet show, mayhem inducing Argent Metal, and right smack in the middle of all of this was a crass and entirely tasteless musical number for which I had to write music AND lyrics. But as I said to Sam when I first sent him my cover letter…’YOU HAD ME AT MUSICAL MUPPET MURDER MYSTERY!’, and that was that.”
~Brian L.H. Gunter (on scoring the muppet-style horror parody, “Bloody Felt”)
