“I’ve always loved classic monster films, and that made it all that much easier to get on so well with Ron [Ford}. He didn’t have to go much farther than to say ‘monkey’s paw adaptation’, and I was in! We bonded over classic Val Lewton films, so I approached this with an eye to blend that style with a bit of ‘The Outer Limits’ and we had a lot of fun with this one!”
